Bedgear pillow ripoff - avoiding issuing a refund - Bedgear Stomach Sleeper Pillow


I ordered a pillow from Bedgear and while the pillow itself is pretty good, they messed up the shipping address twice! Once they shipped it to the billing address when a different shipping address was specified. And when I called to get them to correct it before it was shipped, I was unable to reach anyone for a day. After leaving a message they finally called me back and told me my order wasn't in the system. Umm, what? Then they transferred me to someone who told me they would correct the address. I then received an email from UPS that said the shipment address had been changed, but the zip code was still the one from the billing address! I wanted to reach someone before the package shipped to avoid it getting lost/delayed. Luckily I was able to reach another representative and they finally got it right. (I would be ok with all this, as mistakes happen, but the fact that there's no customer service person to answer your calls or promptly respond to emails is ridiculous! )

This is where it gets horrible%u2026 Months later I ordered a pillow for my mom. When it came it ended up being way too soft for her so I tried calling and emailing the customer service for a refund. No one got back to me no matter how many messages I left and emails I sent. I was able to somehow get in touch with a woman in accounting who is the only one to ever answer my emails. After explaining to her the situation she was very nice and tried to get me in contact with the correct departments numerous times in order to get an authorization number for a return (because that's what you need to get your money back). NO ONE had responded to me for TWO WEEKS. After sending numerous followup emails I finally got an answer letting me know that I can exchange the pillow for another (no mention of the refund even though according to their company policy online I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN THE UNOPENED/UNUSED PRODUCT). When I let them know that I just wanted to return it, all communication from Bedgear ceased and now AFTER THREE WEEKS I am still unable to get anyone to respond to me!!! Bedgear's products are hardly cheap so this is incredibly infuriating!! I will be calling my credit card company to try and resolve this matter.

I give Bedgear one star because while their products are good, all of this frustration is nowhere near worth it. And purposely ignoring customer emails about a refund does not make you a legitimate company - it makes you a FRAUD. WILL NEVER BE BUYING DIRECTLY FROM THEM AGAIN!!
